Communication Machine- Avery and Nikki

This is part of a series of projects focusing on movement and communication. The students had to develop a device that would allow the user to navigate a maze blindfolded, guided by their partner.

Cardboard plane

Here are some images of student projects where they had to use exactly 1 sheet of cardboard (4'x8'), no glue, and construct a sculpture that rested on only 3 points. They were asked to emphasize movement as well as positive and negative space, and when finished, install and photograph the work in a setting that related to the work. From fall 2007.
